Bouzouki, 923 mm in length. It has 6 wooden keys and an equal number of metal strings (5 plain and one wound), divided into 3 groups (2+2+2). It has a carved resonator, a bone bridge, a fingerboard with 23 frets, a saddle and 3 wooden wedges at the base of the body for tying the strings. The round sound hole on the top of its body is covered with a perforated rosette with a shape resembling a double sun (two suns, one inside the other). The fingerboard has with 5 inset disc-shaped finger placement guides made of shell. The front of the headstock is decorated with 12 similar inlaid discs and an elongated rectangular piece of shell at the top. There is a printed paper label inside the body, reading: “ΝΙΚΟΛ. ΜΩΡΑΪΤΑΚΗΣ / ΠΟΜΠΙΑ ΚΡΗΤΗΣ / ΚΑΤΑΣΚΕΥΑΖΟΝΤΑΙ ΚΑΙ ΕΠΙΣΚΕΥΑΖΟΝΤΑΙ ΔΙΑΦΟΡΑ ΜΟΥΣΙΚΑ ΟΡΓΑΝΑ”.
