Laouto made by Emmanouil Veloudios, 950 mm in length. It has 8 mechanical keys with plastic round heads and an equal number of metal strings divided into 4 groups (2+2+2+2). The 2 bottom strings are plain, while the other pairs combine one plain and one wound string. Its body consists of two-toned ribs. The instrument has: a bone bridge, a fingerboard with 11 berdes, 4 inlaid disc-shaped finger placement guides made of shell, plain wooden bindings, 10 straws with "buttons" at both ends, a round sound hole with a rosette, a wooden pickguard and a fixed wooden saddle. The neck is lined with ribs, and the headstock (karaolo) is painted black. At the base of the top of its body, a piece of leather is glued to protect the wood from contact with the player's hand. The top of the instrument is decorated with a sculpted lioness head. On the inside of the body, there is a handwritten label that reads: “Κατασκευή / Εμμ. Βε[λ]ουδίου / Αθήναι 1862”.
