Outi made by Ilias Kanakis (Kapoudaglis), with 11 strings, divided into 6 groups (2-2-2-2-2-1). It is possible that the single string is a later addition. Out of these strings, 6 are gut strings and the remaining 5 are metal wound strings. The body of the instrument is made of 23 two-toned ribs and two side ribs. The top of its body consists of 2 parts and has a wooden pickguard and 3 sound holes, which are covered in perforated plastic decoration with vegetal designs. On the perimeter of the top and the sound holes can be seen inlaid decoration with simple and mosaic wooden bindings. The fingerboard is additional and overlaps with a part of the top. The keys are wooden and are inserted into the headstock from both sides. The bridge is made of bone, the saddle is wooden and glued to the top (fixed). The neck is lined with two-toned ribs. On the inside of the body, there is a photograph of the manufacturer that reads: “ΚΑΠΟΥΔΑΓΛΗ / ΗΛΙΑ ΚΑΝΑΚΗ / ΟΔΟΣ ΜΑΡΑΘΩΝΟΣ ΑΡΙΘ 66Β / (ΣΥΝΟΙΚΙΣΜΟΣ ΧΑΡΙΛΑΟΥ) / ΘΕΣΣΑΛΟΝΙΚΗ / 67 / 1956”.
