Mandola made by Fotis Avgeris, with a string length of 508 mm. It has 8 mechanical keys with round heads and an equal number of metal strings divided into 4 groups (2+2+2+2). The 2 thinner strings are plain, while the rest are wound. Its body is made of rosewood and consists of 17 ribs and 2 side ribs. The instrument has: a bone bridge, an ebony fingerboard with 20 frets and 4 inlaid disc-shaped finger placement guides made of shell, plain and mosaic wooden bindings, flower-shaped elements made of shell around the ellipsoidal sound hole, a wooden pickguard, a wooden saddle with bone and a metal string holder with 4 heads. The neck and the headstock are lined with veneer. There are two paper labels inside the body, reading: “ΕΡΓΟΣΤΑΣΙΟΝ ΕΓΧΟΡΔΩΝ ΟΡΓΑΝΩΝ / Φ. ΑΥΓΕΡΗ / ΟΔΟΣ ΛΥΚΟΥΡΓΟΥ ΑΡΙΘ. 10 / ΕΝ ΑΘΗΝΑΙΣ” and “Φ. ΑΥΓΕΡΗ / ΟΔΟΣ ΛΥΚΟΥΡΓΟΥ ΑΡΙΘ. 10 / ΕΝ ΑΘΗΝΑΙΣ”. There are also stamps impressed in three places, reading: “Φ. ΑΥΓΕΡΗΣ” (twice) and “Φώτη[ς] [Αυγέρ]ης”.
