The 4 thinner strings are plain, while the rest are wound. Its body consists of 23 ribs and 2 side ribs. The instrument has: a bone bridge, a fingerboard with 20 frets and 7 inlaid disc-shaped finger placement guides, plain wooden bindings, an ellipsoidal sound hole, a plastic pickguard (made of celluloid), a wooden saddle with bone and a metal string holder with 4 heads. Tthere is a printed label with the details of the manufacturer inside the body, reading: “ΑΦΟΙ Π.
