Three-stringed instrument modelled after the ancient Greek pandoura, as depicted in the Mantineia relief (4th century BC). It is 840 mm in length and has three wooden keys, an equal number of gut strings, fishing line berdes, a bone bridge and a saddle made of bone and wood. At their lower end, the strings are attached to three small screws. The only sound hole on the instrument is located on the right side of the resonator and is opened at an angle. The resonator is carved, made of a single piece of mulberry wood. The neck has a groove along its length, which serves to tie the berdes.
