Mandola made by Ioannis Stathopoulos, with a string length of 476 mm. It has 8 mechanical keys with plastic rectangular heads and an equal number of metal strings divided into 4 groups (2+2+2+2). The 4 thinner strings are plain, while the rest are wound. Its body consists of 23 ribs and 2 side ribs. The instrument has: a bridge made of a fret with a bone guide, an ebony fingerboard with 22 frets played with the fingers and 6 inlaid disc-shaped plastic finger placement guides, plain and mosaic wooden bindings, white plastic bindings, shell elements in the shape of a circumflex around the ellipsoidal sound hole, a plastic pickguard (made of celluloid) in imitation marble, a wooden saddle with a fret on top and a metal string holder with 4 heads. The neck and the headstock are lined with rosewood veneer. Inside the body, there is a printed paper label of the manufacturer, reading: “ΚΑΤΑΣΚΕΥΗ Ι. ΣΤΑΘΟΠΟΥΛΟΥ / ΑΘΗΝΑΙ”.
