Klarino, 648 mm in length. It consists of 5 detachable parts: a. the fipple-shaped mouthpiece, on which the reed (which is missing) is fixed with a clamp, b. the barrel, c. the upper and d. the lower joint, where the finger holes and the metal keys are located and e. the bell. There are metal rings at the connection points and at the end of the bell. The klarino is accompanied by its case, in the form of a suitcase, containing 2 boxes with 7 and 5 spare reeds, a razor for working on the reeds, a cylinder-shaped box with lubricating ointment, an extra barrel and an extra mouthpiece with its cover. There is an engraved inscription on almost all the parts of the instrument that reads: “HENRI / SELMER / PARIS / MADE IN FRANCE / Recital”. The suitcase bears a metal engraved label that reads: “HENRI / SELMER / PARIS”.
