Laterna, 750 mm in length. The front side is decorated with a painting of a woman. The border of the painting bears perforated vegetal decoration. The laterna is lined with embroidered fabrics with vegetal designs, peacocks and other birds, St George on horseback killing a dragon with his spear, a design of buildings with a windmill, trees and clouds. Fringes and tassels hang on the perimeter of the fabrics. The laterna is also decorated with paper roses, plastic colourful beads, "Christmas" pine cones and various other objects made of metal or plastic. On the back, there are two straps for carrying the instrument. There is an inscription on the front that reads: “GPE TURCONI / CONSTANTINOPOLI” (GPE = Giuseppe). It is accompanied by a wooden stand with legs with multiple rings in relief, that were created using a lathe.
