Klarino, 648 mm in length. It consists of 5 detachable parts: a. the fipple-shaped mouthpiece, on which the reed (which is missing) is fixed with a clamp, b. the barrel, c. the upper and d. the lower joint, where the finger holes and the metal keys are located and e. the bell. There are metal rings at the connection points and at the end of the bell. The klarino is accompanied by its case, in the form of a suitcase, which contains reeds and the cover of the mouthpiece. The body of the instrument bears an engraved inscription that reads: “BUFFET / C[...]pon & Cie / A PARIS”. There is an engraved lyre above the inscription.
