Mandolin with a string length of 338 mm. It has 8 mechanical keys with ellipsoidal plastic heads and rings at the points where the pins exit from the headstock, as well as the same number of metal strings divided into 4 pairs (2+2+2+2). The 4 thinner strings are plain, while the rest are wound. Its body consists of 19 ribs and 2 side ribs. The instrument has: a bridge made of a fret with a bone guide, a fingerboard with 19 frets for use by the fingers and 5 inlaid plastic finger placement guides, simple wooden bindings, mosaic around the top, an ellipsoidal sound hole with a slight indentation at the bottom, a black plastic pickguard with inlaid plastic decoration consisting of a plant and a lyra design, a wooden saddle with bone on top and a metal string holder with 8 hooks. There is a printed paper label inside the body, reading: “MANDOLINO TIP. N. 2 / PRODOTTO 10-8-1967 / MATR.
