Tambouras with 7 metal strings, divided into 3 groups (2-2-3). The lowest group consists of 2 plain strings and one wound string. The second group consists of 2 plain strings. The third group consists of one plain string and wound string. The body of the instrument is made of two-toned ribs, which are separated by black bindings. The top is made of spruce and has two opposing strips of harder wood on the right and left sides. The sound hole is covered by perforated wooden decoration with vegetal patterns. The fingerboard is additional, made of ebony and covering the upper part of te top. The keys are wooden and penetrate the headstock from the front (4) and from the left side (the remaining 3). The upper saddle is made of bone and the lower saddle is made of ebony and is mobile. The neck, made of maple, has 18 berdes made of fishing line, arranged in semitones.
