Uniquely-shaped guitar made by Dimitrios Mourtzinos. The edges at its border are reminiscent of the design of the violin. It has 6 mechanical keys with bone heads and an equal number of strings. The two thinner strings are plain, while the rest are wound. The instrument has: a fretboard with 18 frets, 3 inlaid shell finger placement guides, a bone bridge, an almost rectangular saddle with rounded corners and wedges holding the strings, a uniquely-shaped sound hole with inlaid vegetal elements made of shell on its perimeter, decoration of simple and mosaic wooden bindings on the top, on the walls and on the back of its body. The instrument’s pickguard has the shape of a heart pierced by a dagger. Under the pickguard, which is transparent in many places, there is a strip of paper with the name of the manufacturer printed on it: ‘ΔΗΜ . ΜΟΥΡΤΖΙΝΟΣ”. Inside the body, a printed paper label in the shape of a lyra is glued, reading: “ΔΗΜΗΤΡΙΟΣ ΜΟΥΡΤΖΙΝΟΣ / D. Mourtzinos / ATHENES / Rue Kolokotroni 67 / 190… / ΕΝ ΑΘΗΝΑΙΣ / Οδός Κολοκοτρώνη 67”. The label also features vegetal designs, as well as designs of medals and musical instruments. On the label, there is also the following indication written in pencil: "1923", which is probably the year of manufacture. Next to the manufacturer's label, there is a label of the instrument maker Fotis Avgeris, who had repaired the guitar in the past: “Επισκευή / ΦΩΤΗΣ ΑΥΓΕΡΗΣ / Λυκούργου 10”.
