990 cm x 389 cm x 217 cm (Body height: 209 mm.)
Laouto made by Gr. Kalogerkis, 990 mm in length. It has 8 keys and an equal number of metal strings divided into 4 groups (2+2+2+2). The first pair of strings is plain, while the other pairs combine one plain and one wound string. Its body is made of strips of wood and mosaic tiles. The instrument has: a bone bridge, a fingerboard with 11 berdes, 4 additional round finger placement guides on the left side of the neck, simple wooden bindings, 7 "straws" made of plastic strips, a round sound hole with a special rosette for the slot where the sound amplification device (magnet) is connected, a pickguard and 4 more pieces of wood lining. At the base of the top of its body, an additional piece of wood is glued to protect from contact with the player's hand. The top of the instrument is decorated with an animal head. The pickguard and the lining on the top are decorated with a moulded material, probably synthetic. On the front of the instrument, there are 4 metal "buttons" as well as a metal label with the manufacturer's details: “ΚΑΤΑΣΚΕΥΗ / Π. Γ. ΚΑΛΟΓΕΡΑΚΗΣ / ΧΩΡ. ΚΟΞΑΡΕ / ΚΙΝ.6974431379 / ΕΡΓ. 2832051388”.
