Bottle-shaped lyra, 613 mm in length, with 3 metal strings. It has a leaf-shaped headstock, 3 keys that are inserted into it from the front, a fingerboard, two main parentheses-shaped sound holes on the top of its body and 4 small secondary, round ones. On the sides of the body, there are a total of 4 other small holes, perforated at an angle. The tailpiece is made of wood and fixed with wire to a wooden pin. The instrument has an internal "soul", i.e. a wooden sound post wedged between the top and the back of the instrument. The fingerboard is decorated with a total of 20 holes. The lyra is accompanied by a bow with black hair and a violin stretcher.
